Dr. William Vaughn was born and raised in rural western Kentucky. He graduated from Kentucky Wesleyan College with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Chemistry and Biology. He then spent two years working in pharmaceutical research before deciding to pursue a career in dentistry. He completed his Master of Science degree in Oral Biology at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, where he then went on to obtain his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. After graduating from the University of Louisville he spent one year at the University of Kentucky General Practice Residency where he trained in surgical, implant, and sedation dentistry.
Dr. Vaughn has an extensive background in clinical research and has been published in the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants.
In his spare time Dr. Vaughn enjoys camping, mountain biking, fishing, and spending time outdoors with his beautiful wife and their two dogs.
