Several appointment times are reserved daily for emergency care. The purpose of this emergency time is to provide immediate treatment for the relief of pain. An appointment is necessary prior to the dispensing of prescriptions as a diagnosis is required to justify the course of treatment, including medications prescribed. Additional subsequent appointments may be necessary to complete the required definitive treatment.
After hours care is available for emergencies that cannot wait until the next available appointment. After hours care is limited to current patients who have been seen within the last 24 months. Additional after hours fees are applicable. All patients calling after normal business hours will be verified as being eligible patients prior to receiving a returned call.
Payment plans are available through CareCredit or Lending Plus. CareCredit is a personal line of credit for healthcare treatments and procedures. It works like a credit card but it has two advantages. It can only be used for healthcare services and you can get No Interest* financing every time you use it. Simply pay your minimum monthly payment and pay off the entire balance by the end of your promotional period and you pay No Interest. You can get a No Interest payment plan if paid in full within 6 or 12 months on purchases with your CareCredit card. We also offer 18 or 24 month financing for Invisalign.
Payment is expected at the time dental services are rendered. We will work with your dental insurance company to obtain maximum benefits for you, but you are ultimately responsible for the entire fee charged. We normally collect from you that portion of the fee not expected to be paid by your insurance company. After your dental insurance company makes payment, you will be responsible for any remaining balance. While we strive to insure accuracy in our estimate of your insurance benefit, we do not work for the insurance company and cannot guarantee what they will or will not pay. We can file for a pre-determination of benefits, however a pre-determination of benefits is not a guarantee of payment by the insurance company. An insurance company may downgrade a procedure to a different material in order to reduce their payment. Dr. Brown will use the best materials available for your case and will not change to a lesser material or treatment due to an insurance company’s policy to reduce their payments. This means that you will likely be responsible for the fee difference as your out of pocket expense.
